TWO men accused of an acid attack on a Redhill man have appeared in court.Lee Bates, 25, a groundsman, of Halston Close, London, and Michael McPherson, 26, of Aldrington Road, London, appeared at Hove Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on Friday.The pair are charged with possession of an offensive weapon, assault and GBH with intent.Both men appeared in the dock together for a brief hearing before the case was adjourned until November 16.Neither has yet entered a plea.
