DEDICATED staff from Banstead charity The Royal Alfred Seafarers' Society have raised £4,000 by scaling 24 peaks in 24 hours.The team of six trained on Box Hill in preparation for the 50-mile course.The challenge took place in the Lake District over a weekend in July and the course included Scafell Pike, the highest peak in England.Funds raised will contribute to campaigns to raise awareness of the important role that seafarers play in UK society.The society's chief executive, Commander...
