FOOTBALL legend Rio Ferdinand has backed the Surrey Mirror in its stand against an FA directive which instructed the newspaper not to print final scorelines from youth football matches.
As reported in the Mirror last week, Surrey County Football Association wrote a letter the the Mirror asking it not to publish results of U11 and U7 football matches.
