A police appeal has been launched after a gang broke into a Caterham home and threatened a homeowner with a plank of wood.Officers were called to Stanley Street at about 12.20am today after a group of men forced themselves into a property by breaking through the glass panel of the front door.Once inside, they threatened the occupier with a plank of wood and a pole, according to Surrey Police.Following the incident the victim, a woman in her 40s, fell to the floor and was taken to East Surrey...
