Instead of having to travel to Iceland to see the Northern Lights, they could be visible in the skies from your back garden in East Surrey this week, according to experts.
Northern Lights experts AuroraWatch UK have issued an 'amber alert', saying that the Aurora Borealis "is likely to be visible by eye from Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland; possibly visible from elsewhere in the UK."
