Time for Tea. Holly's Tearoom, A24 Holmwood
While motoring from Ockley towards Dorking the other afternoon, I was quite surprised to see a roadside sign saying that a new tearoom was open.
The sign was outside the former Holly and Laurel pub on the busy A24 dual carriageway.
For many years now – perhaps about 20 – it hasn't been a pub but since its closure, the premises have had a variety of uses including an emporium and a stoves and fireplaces shop.
