One of
Redhill's most well known landmarks has finally been replaced.
Boards that have surrounded the town's giant canopy, in Warwick Quadrant, since April were taken down earlier today to reveal its glass and steel replacement.
In 2011,
Reigate and Banstead Borough Council agreed for the old canopy, built in 1986, to be removed and replaced with a smaller version as part of public realm improvements, which also include a massive expansion of the town's Sainsbury's store.
