An escaped Highland cow provided Dorking motorists with an unexpected obstacle on Monday morning (October 31) after setting loose on a main road.
The large animal caused traffic hold ups on the A24, near to the junction with Horsham Road just before 9am.
A spokeswoman for Surrey Police confirmed the animal was 'heading northbound' before being returned to a nearby garden.
