War memorials in Caterham-on-the-Hill and Buckland have been listed by Historic England.The new status recognises the structures' historic interest as being one "of national importance and therefore worth protecting".The two memorials, in Church Road and Rectory Lane respectively, have been listed along with 68 other war memorials across the South East as part of Historic England's plan to protect 2,500 by 2018, marking the centenary of the First World War.READ MORE: Date revealed for...
