A CRITICAL shortage of volunteers is causing hundreds of girls to miss out on becoming a Rainbow or Brownie.Demand is so acute in the Reigate area that even girls put on the waiting list for a Rainbow place at birth may not get one.There is currently just one Rainbow group, which takes 20 five to seven-year-olds, based at Shaw's Corner, Redhill.
