A micropub in Whyteleafe has won an award - after just a year of opening.The Radius Arms pub, in Godstone Road, has been voted East and Mid-Surrey CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year.The pub is run by former bus driver Vincent Glen of Waddington Avenue, Old Coulsdon.He quit his job to launch the venture on May 8 last year.Mr Glen serves up to 12 ciders with such delightful names as Slack Alice and Rosie's Pig.Although several pubs have closed locally in recent years Mr Glen bucked the trend by launching...
